The third dinner in our club’s 2015-16 “Rotary Home Cooking” series took place Saturday night at Pat Bailey’s residence. Pat was joined in the kitchen by two longtime friends who served as sous chefs — Massachusetts residents Joan and Emery Maddocks.
The French-themed dinner featuring beef bourguignonne, augmented by French flags and colors and an assortment of French wines, was enjoyed by all as we socialized while raising several hundred dollars for the club treasury.
The fourth dinner in the series, “Wines & Small Plates,” is scheduled for Saturday, April 16, at the Dowd residence.
