Looking for something different to do with the kids or grandkids? As usual, Rotary has a suggestion that sounds like fun.
A reminder that this Tuesday — February 23 — at the Scotia Cinema, our District 7190 will celebrate Rotary International’s 111th birthday with a party that will include a screening of the popular Disney film “Frozen.” The film tells the story of a fearless princess who sets off on an epic journey alongside a rugged iceman, his loyal pet reindeer, and a naïve snowman to find her estranged sister, whose icy powers have inadvertently trapped the kingdom in eternal winter.
The family event will begin at 6:30 p.m. when everyone can enjoy some popcorn, a drink, and a slice of Rotary birthday cake as well as the movie.
Admission is just $10 per person or $25 for a family of four. That’s quite a bargain for the package compared to the usual walk-in movie prices.
The Scotia Cinema is located at 117 Mohawk Avenue (Route 5), just over the bridge from Schenectady.
