Happy New Year, fellow Rotarians:
We’re gearing up to resume our weekly dinner meetings, with the first of 2015 set for 6:15 p.m. Thursday, January 8, at Quigley’s.
We’re excited about the programs we’re lining up for the 2015 portion of our Rotary Year, a collection we think will rival the extremely varied and interesting programs we had in 2014.
This week, our own wealth management guru A.J. Amato will start us off with “A Financial Forecast for 2015,” something we all have a stake in. In the ensuing weeks, we’re lining up such widely varied topics as harness horse training, thermoelectric alternative energy, community hospice, and much, much more. (Please check the program assignments schedule on the club website to be sure you lock in your programs.)
This Thursday, a hearty menu of Chicken Parm, oven-roasted potatoes, green beans, salad, dessert and beverages has been requested. The heartiest among us will gather at the cash bar in advance of the dinner, so please join us.
As always, Tuesday is the deadline for RSVP-ing. If you have not yet indicated your intent one way or the other, please e-mail President Bill Dowd right away.
