Rotary Grants, a new microwebsite designed to simplify information about Rotary Foundation grants, also allows Rotarians to apply for grants as well as manage them online.
There are three different types of grants for which local clubs may apply. They are:
District Grants: They fund smaller, short-term activities that address needs in both the local community and communities worldwide. Each district gets to choose which projects it will fund with these grants.
Global Grants: They support large international activities with sustainable, measureable outcomes in one or more of six areas of focus. The Rotary Foundation accepts global grant applications on a rolling basis throughout the year.
Packaged Grants: They have been designed in advance by Rotary and its strategic partners. The activities they fund are similar to those funded b, but the work of designing the activity’s general framework already has been done.
