‘Rotary Home Cooking’ series to resume Oct. 27

Doris and Dean Calamaras will host the first “Rotary Home Cooking” dinner of the 2012-13 Rotary year.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 27. Reservations are $20 per person with funds going to the club’s general treasury.

Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. with cocktails, cheese and crackers and stuffed grape leaves.

The dinner menu:

Roast pork
Cranberry sauce
Cranberry
Jell-O mold
Apple, cabbage & onions
Irish & sweet potatoes
Breads, butter
Coffee(s) and tea
Carrot cake, coconut cake, brownies & chocolate chip cookies

As Doris notes, “Our dining table holds eight (8), but we can add extra tables, if necessary.”
