Meet the new District Governor this week

Fellow SRC Rotarians:

A good meeting last week at the Brewers. A small group, but a lot of fun and socialization. The meal was very good. Thanks to Betty, Terry, and Geoff Brewer for hosting.

This week we are at the Leyhane residence with new District Governor Bill Nathan attending. (Bill is at left in this photo taken at a meeting last year.) The social time will begin at 6 p.m. Jim is requesting a good turnout to hear the new message about Rotary and to show Bill a warm welcome from our club. Please let me know if you are attending as my attendance sheet for meetings is not too accurate at this time.

Signed up to attend this week: Pat Bailey, Terry Brewer, Geoff Brewer, Betty Brewer, Dean Calamaras, Doris Calamaras, April Dowd, Bill Dowd, Dick Drumm, Mary Drumm, Russ Edberg, Charlie Foote, Murray Forth, Maggie Forth, Jeremy Forth, Bill Kneissl, Len Leonidas, Jim Leyhane, Diane Leyhane, Rob Mangold, Jim Mandrysa, Carole Orvis, Deb Rodriguez, Rommel Tolentino, Bill Nathan, an assistant governor and, potentially, four guests of the Leyhanes. If you are attending, please remember to bring an appetizer or dessert to share.

We have not seen a few members in a while and hope to have them attend this meeting. We know that summer schedules are busy but we hope Rotary still is in your plans for the coming year. We are looking forward to having you participate with us soon — Burke Adams, Jason Brown, Mark Hoyt, Bob Horan and Rick Hannmann. Please let me know if you can attend this meeting. We would enjoy having you with us.

A reminder that club dues are due up. Treasurer Murray Forth is accepting your $175 checks.

See you at Jim’s.
