President Terry’s weekly message

• Week of May 8, 2011.

Dear SRC Rotarians:

We enjoyed a good meeting last week. Our guests speakers provided us with insight into Eagle Scout project work — Fred Hiller — and an interesting program on “7 Creative Ways to Save Money on Your Everyday Living Expenses” — from James Farnham. The turnout for club meetings has been very supportive for our speakers throughout the year.

This week our guest speaker is Craig Alexander, DDS, speaking on modern dentistry. His appearance is sponsored by Carol Orvis. We look forward to meeting Dr. Alexander.

I will have signup sheets for various activities involved in the May 22 Rotary Run. We will need everyone’s assist to make the event a success. Please indicate your support on a sign-up sheet. Thanks.

I have the following members indicating attendance at the meeting this week: Ron Annis, Pat Bailey, Terry Brewer, Deb Brown, Peter Brown, Doris Calamaras, Bill Dowd, April Dowd, Dick Drumm, Russ Edberg, Charlie Foote, Murray Forth, Bill Kneissl, Len Leonidas, Jim Leyhane, Rob Mangold, Jim Mendrysa, Carol Orvis and guest Dr. Alexander, Steve Phelps, and Deb Rodriguez.
