Being a big wheel for Rotary Foundation

SRC Club member Charlie Foote will be heading to the Rotary International Convention in New Orleans in May on two wheels.

No, he doesn’t drive his car that way. Instead, he’ll be meeting up with fellow members of the International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians at different points along the way. The groups, leaving from Albany, Chicago, Seattle and Sacramento, are scheduled to meet in Baton Rouge, LA, on May 19 and then head into New Orleans en masse the following day.

The plan is to encourage fellow Rotarians to make contributions to the Rotary Foundation in one of several ways: pledging a per-mile-ridden amount, or sending in a specific amount.

If sending checks, be sure to mark them as Rotary PolioPlus/IFMR Ride. You can get further information from a special website set up for the project.
