Gift of Life kids have successful surgeries

Tsenda, a 14-month-old child from Mongolia, and Cristain, a 9-year-old from Bolivia, were the latest children brought to Albany Medical Center for life-altering cardiac surgeries. Both are reported progressing well and now staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Albany.

This photo montage shows Cristain in surgery and Tsenda in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Albany Med. The photos are by Lansingburgh Rotarian John Musco.

Incidentally, the Gift of Life is in dire need of volunteers to help greet incoming patients at Albany International Airport, and to visit them at the Ronald McDonald House. You can full details on what volunteers can do by contacting Rich Hodge via e-mail at rhodge@roadrunner.com.
